Diane Williamson

Ms. Diane Williamson 74, of Burlington, North Carolina transitioned peacefully at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, DeVonn and Elton Allison on March 21, 2024.

Diane was born on January 16, 1950 in Caswell County, NC to Mr. Preston and Mrs. Thelma Daye Williamson.  She was educated in the public school system and later obtained an associate degree from Prince George Community College in Largo Maryland.  Diane was gainfully employed as a Postal Worker in Washington DC until her retirement.  While living in Georgia she worshipped at the Asbury Memorial Church in Savanah, Georgia.  Diane participated in feeding the homeless and voter registration, she was a Washington Commander Football fan and enjoyed watching reality tv, but her favorite activity was to talk to her beautiful great granddaughter, Preslei.

Diane will be forever remembered in the heart of her daughter, DeVonn W. Allison and son-in-law, Elton, grandchildren, Gregory Thomas (Ashlee) and TaKeva Mitchell, her great grandchild, Preslei Gilliam; four siblings, Shirley W. Gray, Jeanette Williamson, and Theodore "Nick" Williamson all of Burlington and Preston Wayne "Bay" Williamson, Jr. of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Thelma Williamson.
