Deacon David Ramseur Obituary

Deacon David Ramseur, son of Florence Ramseur Love was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 21, 1935.  He was the husband of Margaret Stanfield Ramseur and to this union was born three beautiful daughters: Shelia, Jacqueline and LaSharon.  For many years he resided in Jamaica, New York where he owned and operated his own Moving Company.  In 2009 he relocated to Burlington and united with Ebenezer United Church of Christ where he began serving with the Board of Deacons.  He was a devout Scottish Rite Mason, having obtained the highest Degrees and served in several offices.  In years past he was a Sunday School Instructor and Basketball Coach.  He loved the Lord, his family and friends and held a special affinity for quartet music.

He leaves loving and lasting memories to his wife Margaret S. Ramseur; their three daughters: Shelia Ramseur, Jacqueline Ramseur and LaSharon Ramseur; four sisters-in-law; as well as several dear relatives and friends.
