Danny Lee "Peter" Pride, Sr.

     Danny Lee Pride, Sr., better known as "Peter" was born in Alamance County to Onies Pride and Ora Lee Corbett Pride. On September 3, 1948.  Following a brief illness, he passed away into life eternal on February 10, 2020 while he was being cared for by the staff of Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.  He was the married to Mrs. Tonsie M. Parker Pride.  He was employed as a Salesman with Hunt Electric for many years.  He loved riding motorcycles and playing Golf with Black Jacket Promotions, most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.  Danny was a member of Miles Chapel Baptist Church.

     Those left to cherish memories are: his loving and devoted wife: Tonsie M. Parker Pride; three children: Danny L. Pride, Jr. (Gwendolyn), Stephanie Lanell Morris and Desmon Short; four grandchildren: Heather Pride, Evan Pride, Tyler Pride,  and Nicholas Farrington; a great-grandson: Broderick Elias Farrington; five siblings: Larry Pride (Paulette), Joan Cohn, Armon Pride (Barbara), George Pride (Theresa) and Gregory Pride (Bonnie); as well as in-laws; nieces & nephews; cousins and dear friends. 

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three siblings: Marty Pride, Walter Pride and Dearline Pride.
