Dale Worth Obituary

Mr. Dale Vincent Worth 68, of 4652 Mebane Oaks Road, Mebane, NC passed quietly at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born to Benjamin Kermit Worth and Iola Elizabeth Coble Worth on January 11, 1954, in Alamance County.

There was no greater joy in his life other than spending quality time with his family. He loved sports especially playing softball and baseball and played on the County Raiders softball team. If he wanted some quiet time, he loved listening to music or taking time away to go fishing. He enjoyed time at the drag strip watching drag races and attending car shows walking and looking at old school cars.

Dale was survived by his wife Vera Gail Worth; son, Markus Worth (Jennifer); daughter, Lauren Worth; brother, Benjamin Clark Worth Jr. (Diane); sister, Linda Ann Muriell; grandchildren, Joseph Vincent Brantley, Mylo LaRue DeNike-Worth; sister-in-law Debbie Worth; along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Iola Worth, brothers Alvin Worth and Stevenson Worth.
