Curtis Ratliff Obituary

Curtis Jerry Ratliff was born to Curtis Rogers and Viola Ratliff Glover in Alamance County, NC on April 12, 1948.  Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School and soon after enlisted into the United State Marine Corps.  He served during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded the Combat Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/dev and the Rifle Sharpe Shooter Badge.  He was a member of Burnetts Chapel Christian Church where he served faithfully with the Food Bank Ministry and the Missionaries.  He was employed as a professional driver for Glen Raven Mills, Inc. 

He leaves loving and cherished memories to his loving wife Janet White Ratliff; two daughters: Tina R. Rogers (Donnell, Jr.) and LaToya Ratliff; brother: Leslie Glover; 10 grandchildren; two step-sons: Kevin Day (Crystal) and Craig Day as well as several nieces and nephews, in-laws, other relatives and dear friends.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings: Samuel Ratliff, Patricia Ann Ratliff Bryson, Shirley Jackson and Lossie Glover.
