If the life of the party were a person, it would be Corey Neal.
Corey Neal, son of Robert and Julia Neal, was born May 16, 1974, in Alamance County North Carolina. He departed his earthly life on July 19, 2023.
Corey was educated in the Alamance County school system and was a graduate of the class of 1993 at Cummings High School. He spent much of his career in textiles. He was currently employed with FairyStone Fabrics in Burlington, North Carolina. Corey was a man that loved to seize the opportunities and joys of life. A phrase that you would often hear him say is “Live life to the fullest.”
In Corey’s free time, he loved to pull for the Cowboys, entertain friends and family, cook pork chops that everybody thought were steaks, horseplay with nieces and nephews and argue with the boss (Connor), and enjoy a hot toddy!
Corey was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Charli Greenberry and Anderson Neal Sr. Maternal grandparents Samuel, and Addie Graves, as well as his brother-in-law Gerald Wade. And a Special Uncle Lou.
Corey leaves to cherish his childhood sweetheart and wife, Lynn (Boochie) Neal, and their three children, Coraya Sabbrice Neal, Corey Jalil Neal, and Carmelo Jaden Neal. His beloved poo bear, Charleigh Neal. His Parents" Robert & Julia Neal; His Mother-in-law, Ruthie Williams. One sister, Cynthia Slade. Three brothers, Casey Brown (Alicia), Carl Brown (Nia), and Chris Neal (Kendra). Two sisters-in-laws, Rejean Hackney and Cheryl Williams. Five nieces Tiffany Williams, Brittney Wade, Carmen Williams, Christen Monshae’ Neal, and Kaylee Brown. Six nephews, Brandon Randolph (Sabina), Joshua Randolph, Victavious Wilson, Kyle Brown (Sabrina), Adrian Brown, and David Omar Thaxton. And a host of great nieces and nephews, extended family, friends (DD4L), neighbors, and loved ones.
