Charlie Franklin "Frankie" Enoch entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Bryan Center in Durham, NC. Frankie was born to Jessie Vernice Wilson Enoch and Charlie "Son" Enoch on December 4, 1948 in Burlington, NC. He was educated in the Burlington School System and graduated from Jordan Sellars High School in 1967. He served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, "Frankie" was a retired disabled Veteran, during his time served he was awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
"Frankie" loved his family, his love for his parents was definitely undeniable. In his spare time, he enjoyed sitting on the porch eating a Zacks hotdog, drinking a cold pepsi, smoking a cigar and singing ( "it was surely a treat to be serenaded by "Frankie"). He also loved to talk about his old school white mustang he once had as well as his blue 5.0 LX GT mustang. Frankie was preceded in death by his parents Vernice and Charlie Enoch, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by a special cousin, Craig A. Tinnin (his wife Bobbie) of Burlington; aunts, Yvonne Wilson of Burlington, Ruth Wilson of Greensboro and numerous cousins. Special thanks to caregivers, Angie Currie-Woods, Carolyn Evans and Stella Williamson.
