Camille Nicole Cox Clinkscale age 48, of Burlington was born September 18, 1972 to Cornell Smith and the late Zandra Belinda Hall Smith in Youngstown, OH. Nikki as she was known to her family and friends transitioned from labor to reward on August 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She also attended Warren Western Reserve High School and was a member of the 1990 graduating class and was a dedicated employee at Walmart for more than 20 years.
Nikki’s children and grandchildren meant the world to her. As a mother Nikki worked hard to make sure her six children never wanted for anything. When it came to her grandchildren, she was very attentive to their needs as well and did not allow anything to come between her and them. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her family during family game night and that’s when her competitive nature would shine through.
She was loved by many. Being the loving and caring person that she was she would put others before herself. People loved her because of her generous heart and her big beautiful smile that would make anyone’s day better.
She and her husband Glen were both faithful and dedicated fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. They enjoyed traveling and being on the go. During their time together they attended several Steelers cruises where they met and mingled with some of the team’s players. Their travels also took them to several tropical destinations including Jamaica and the Bahamas.
She is survived by her faithful and dedicated husband Glen Clinkscale; sons, Anthony Ja’Waan Cox, Jai’Mauni De’Shon Clinkscale, Glen Arthur Clinkscale Jr.; daughters Glennisha Nichole Clinkscale and Tay’awna Mo’nae Clinkscale; father, Cornell Smith; brothers, Curtis Evans Cox (Felicia) and Kevin Lamar Gilbert; grandchildren, Taylor Cox, Ah’zhir Brown, Wallace Berry III, Jayceon Berry, Karter Berry; adopted grandchildren, Kamia Jones and Kristian Gaskin; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her son, De'Vante Tykel Clinkscale and grandchild Makayla Jale’ Cox.
