Bobby Lenell Harrelson

Mr. Bobby Harrelson, son of the late James Harrelson and the late Ida Norman was born on January 9, 1952, in Orange County, North Carolina. He departed this life on August 18, 2023, at Moses Cone Medical Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. 

Bobby attended the Orange County and Alamance County School System. Throughout his life he worked at various textile industries jobs before retiring from Honda Inc. 

He loved playing baseball and pitching horseshoes. He was fondly known as “Bobcat” or “Rock” by his family and friends. 

Bobby leaves to cherish his daughter Charlotte Turner (Michael), two sons, Michael Tinnin (Kim), and Sean Bolton. Five grandchildren, five sisters, Evangelist Mary Catherine Frazier, Ruby Edwards, Apostle Dr. Carolyn Denise Daniels-Taylor, Linda Norman, and Prophetess Gloria Washington. One brother, Rev Lewis Harrelson, two aunts, Vera Crisp and Annie Catherine Poteat. Special Friend Theresa Crawford and Special brother and friend Rosco Alston and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Thomas Ruffin, Eugene Ruffin, Monroe Ruffin and James Harrelson Jr.
