Betty Lou Tinnin transitioned from labor to reward on October 29, 2023, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a long fought battle. Betty was born to the late Charlie Edward Tinnin and Lucille Jones Tinnin on June 11, 1951, in Alamance County.
Betty attended Jordan Sellars High School in Burlington, NC. She retired from Glen Raven Mills. Betty truly lived her life to the fullest. She and her sisters would go out to eat, shopping and to the grocery store every day.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son Michael Faucette of the home, two daughters, Tammy Faucette of Burlington, NC, and Robin Faucette of the home. Her only grandchild Kentrel Faucette; four great grandchildren, Jordan, Kennedi, Khloe, Kaysen; three sisters, Annie Tinnin, Lessie Hurdle of Burlington, NC, and Ruthie Manley (John) of Chapel Hill, NC; three nieces, five nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thanks to her caretakers Tonya Miles, Doretha Enoch, Kelsey Gant, and her special friend Charlie Walker.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her only brother, William Tinnin and two nephews, Curtis Tinnin and Varnodia Tinnin.
