Ms. Betty Jean Tate Crisp transitioned to her heavily home on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Cone Health - Alamance Regional Hospital. Betty was born to Robert Lee Tate and Mae Ellen Turner Hatfield on January 19, 1952.
Betty was a faithful and dedicated homemaker and one of her greatest joys was cooking and feeding her family and friends. She was known for her sense of humor that would keep you laughing and she was also known as one who would speak her mind. The love that she had for her children and grandchildren was her greatest and most precious gift.
She is survived by her daughter, Thresa Tate, sons, Garry Tate, Anthony Tate, Christopher Tate; step daughters, Laura Massey, Pam Thompson; brother, Ronnie Tate; sisters, Mary Fuller, Linda Tate; ten grand children; three great grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Robert Turner and Mae Turner Hatfield; brothers, Robert Junior Tate, Rickey Tate, Larry Tate; and one sister Hattie Mae Tate.
