Mrs. Bessie Mae Chandler Wright transitioned on May 7, 2020 at the Alamance House.

Mrs. Wright was the daughter of Mr. Claude Chandler and Mrs. Willie Mae Garrison Chandler both now deceased.  She was the wife of the late Mr. William Wright.

Her life and legacy will be forever cherished in the hearts of her daughter, Vera “Shirley” Wright Collins, son, Vernon Wright; eight grandchildren including Carnial Wright Collins whom she raised from birth and a host of great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bessie was preceded in death by two sons, Walter Wright and Glen Wright; siblings, Clifton Chandler, Otis Chandler and Mary Theola C. Wright.
