Mr. Ben Clark Worth Jr., was born December 11, 1946 in Alamance County North Carolina to Mr. Benjamin Kermit Worth and Iola Elizabeth Coble Worth. Following a period of brief illness he departed this life Wednesday, August 3, 2022 while he was being cared for by the staff of Cone-Health Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC. Clark was a 1965 graduate of Alamance Central High School, Graham North Carolina. For over 57 years he held a close bond with many of his classmates. He married the love of his life, Diane Crisp and the two shared a love that will last forever. Their love and blossomed into three daughters Tracy and the twins, Tara and Carla.
For over 25 years he was employed with Duke Power Company. Following his employment there he began to work with the City of Burlington until his retirement. Ben worked and owned his own landscaping business. In his times of leisure he mainly enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and pier fishing along the North Carolina Coast. He also loved watching sports on television. In fact, in his youth he played baseball along with many of the friends in the Saxapahaw and Melville communities. He was the epitome of strength and dignity, who would go out of his way to help anyone that he could whether they were friends, family or his neighbors.
He leaves loving and lasting memories to his wife Diane C. Worth; three daughters: Tracy Worth, Tara Leatrice Worth “Lea” and Carla Worth Condron and her husband BJ; one sister Linda Ann Murriell; three grandchildren: Tyler Trombley, Jalen Condron, and Eliana Condron; in-laws, Gail Worth, Woodie Crisp (Margareite) and Zelma Crisp Minor (Norman), Janice Bullock (Armstead) as well as several nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Alvin Worth, Stevenson Worth, and Dale V. Worth.
