Barbara Ann Woods

Barbara Ann Woods was born to Lex Woods in Alamance County on April 28, 1942.  She quietly departed this earthly life on January 11, 2021 while being cared for by the staff of Alamance Health Care.  She was a graduate of Jordan-Sellars Senior High School and was employed with the textile industry.  She was a devoted member of Maple Grove Baptist Church where she served as an Usher for a number of years.  She was a devoted and loving mother and an all around caring individual.  

She leaves loving memories to her daughter: Cynthia L. Woods three sisters: Addie Allison, Hattie Allison and Lenora Washington as well as several nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.  

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by siblings: A.T. Allison, Rudy Allison, James Washington and Daisy Leath and her husband Robert.
