Annie Mae (Jones) Bumpass

Mrs. Annie Mae Jones Bumpass of 900 Trollinger Rd. Graham transitioned from labor to reward on September 5, 2022 while being cared for at Cone Health ARMC.  She was born on July 6, 1938 in Person County, NC but she celebrated July 5th as her date of birth.  Annie Mae was the daughter of Mr. John Sander Jones and Mrs. Anna Swann Jones.

Mrs. Annie Mae was a member of Children's Chapel in Graham, NC where she served as a Missionary.  Mrs. Annie Mae was filled with love in her heart, showing it in her daily walk, in her church and on her jobs, especially when she worked with the children in the day care industry.  Always with a smile on her face, it was a pleasure to be greeted by her.

The life and now legacy of Mrs. Annie Mae Jones Bumpass will be forever cherished by her husband, Charlie David Bumpass; two daughters, Beverly Ann Brunette (Floyd Jr.) and Starlene Jones and step daughter, Danielle Pier (Jerry); three grandchildren, April Coiner (Raymond), Tanya Burnette (Samantha) and Shelley Hamlett; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jim Jones, Johnny Jones, Bill Jones, Walter Lee Jones and Charles Jones, Mary Fannie Curry, Mable Alston and Bessie Lee Ackerman; stepsons, Randy Wesley Bumpass and Elarnzy Van-Ness Bumpass.
