The life and labor of Ande Williamson came to a quiet close on January 19, 2023 while he was being cared for by the staff of White Oak Manor of Burlington. He was born June 25, 1945 to Luther Williamson, Sr. and Effie Johnson Williamson in Caswell County, North Carolina. He attended Caswell County Training School, and was employed with Associated Transport, Jeffries Linoleum & Tile and Mark Isley Grading & Seeding for several years.
Spiritually, he was a member of Burton‘s Chapel Baptist Church, where he joined at an early age. He was a faithful and dedicated member who loved to sing with the Male Chorus. During his times of leisure, he enjoyed hunting, riding horses and playing softball. He was a great softball coach and pitcher with The Williamson Bees.
Cherished memories are left to his devoted wife of 54 years Nathalae Davis Williamson; two daughters: Stephanie Clapp and Tracey B. Vincent (Barry); one granddaughter; one great granddaughter; five siblings: Sherdena W. Long, Fred Dee Williamson (Mildred), Hulon Williamson (Delois), Gunnie “Peaches” Williamson (Gaynell) and Shirley W. Reid (Steve): sisters-in-law: Edna Johnson, Neva Stansbury (Gerald), Cora Mae Williamson, and Helen W. Williamson and an aunt Joanne Johnson. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
In his passing, he now joins his parents and siblings, Luther Williamson, Jr, Levi Williamson, Earl Williamson and Leurco Williamson.
