Mr. Albert Vanstory was born on February 9, 1950, to Mr. Willie Vanstory Sr. and Mrs. Reva Hammond Vanstory in Guilford County, NC. Albert transitioned on July 1, 2022, at Peaks Resources of Alamance. He spent a great portion of his life from 1976 to 2014 in Baltimore Maryland, where he was roofer for over 30 years. He later moved back to North Carolina to be surrounded by his family.
Albert was a founding member of Power House of Deliverance Church in Greensboro, NC where he served as the church's first drummer, he loved the Lord and was often testifying to the goodness of God and declaring the Word of God. Albert was a UNC basketball and football fan, watching whenever he could, but making sure he was caught up on all the latest news broadcast. He was a funny, tender and sweet hearted man. His most enjoyable times were spent eating, and "man could he eat".
Albert is survived by his sister, Betty V. Moore and a host of nieces and nephews both great and great-great. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Vanstory Sr. and Mrs. Reva Hammond Vanstory and his two brothers, Willie Vanstory Jr. and Tyrone Vanstory.
