William Odell Francis "Bill" 76 of 415 Rauhut St. transitioned on October 9, 2017.

He was the son of Deacon Odell Francis and Ruth Daye Francis, both deceased. He was the husband of Mrs. Evelyn Moore Francis, deceased.  He graduated from Jordan-Sellars High School and was an alumnus of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.  He was a manager with the Ball Corporation and a member of New Covenant United Holy Church. 

Survivors include his daughter Tyra Francis; two siblings: Ronald E. Francis and Michelle F. Thomas (Agar).

He was preceded in death by a brother Gary Francis.
