Thomas Lea Obituary
Thomas Thurston Lea, “Bud” was born in Caswell County to Jerry Lea and Hilda Richmond Lea and was the husband of Betty Turner Lea. He was a member of High Rock Baptist Church and St. Augusta’s Lodge #642 FA&M PHA. He was employed with Burlington Industries for many years with the Shop Department. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and "people watching".
He is survived by his wife Betty Lea; two children: Sandy Lea Cobb (David) and Michael Turner (Jeanne Martin); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Cicero Lea, Johnny Lea (Wyvonia), Joyce Yarborough (Allen) and Aurora Belle Lea Enoch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Timothy Lea and a brother William Love.
