Ms. Tameka Anette Day transitioned on December 21, 2017 at her residence.  She was born June 1, 1968 in Alamance County to the late Christine Gladys Walker Day and Billy Ray Day, Sr., who survives.  

Tameka loved life and believed in living up to its fullest.  She had a big heart and loved to be around her family and friends.  One of her greatest joys was her children and grandchildren.                         Tameka leaves loving and lasting memories to her father: Billy Ray Day, Sr.; a son: Steven Crisp, Jr., daughters: Tanya Crisp and Shetera Day; a special daughter: Shayla Vincent Shabazz; seven siblings: Billy Ray Day, Jr., Frank Day, Jay Day, Ray Day, Gail Morrow, Angela Day and Annette Day as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
