Sylvia "Dool" (Street) Rogers

Ms. Sylvia Street "Dool" Rogers of 506 Vine St. Burlington,NC transitioned on April 19, 2019 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.

She was the daughter of Samuel Taylor Street and Maggie Lou Carver Street both deceased.

She is survived by her children, Emanuel Street, Beverly Street and Teresa Valentina Street; siblings, Elijah Street (Carlethia "Lee") and Evangelist Carrie Barnes (Alphonso); 11 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.  "Dool" was also loved by her nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Sylvia was preceded in death by one son Dennis J. Street, one grandchild, brother, John "Butch" Street and sisters, Emma Rea Street, Geneva Burroughs and Curley Mae Street.

"Dool" as she was affectionately called by her family worked in the healthcare business for a many of years.  She loved cooking, watching cooking shows and her soap operas.

The family of Ms. Sylvia "Dool" Rogers would also like to thank her nurse Karen Woodard, Touched by An Angel and the Hospice Home Staff of Alamance-Caswell.
