Rosa Mae (Jones) Farrish

Mrs. Rosa Mae Jones Farrish was born in Orange County to William Jones and Ruby Wade Jones.  She was educated and graduated from Hillsborough High School with the class of 1952.  She met and married Bracken Gattis Farrish and this union was blessed with three children, Vernice, Valerie and Gattis.  She was a hard worker and provided for her family as she was employed with A.O. Smith for many years.   She was formerly a member of Greater Cannon Baptist Church, but recently she had been in fellowship with her family at Covenant of Love Christian Church.  

She leaves loving and lasting memories to her son: Gattis Farrish; three grandchildren: Latanza Johnson Strayhorn (Chris), Carla Johnson and Bracken Farrish; two great-grandchildren: Jordan Good and Jayce Whitfield; three siblings: Jeanette Parker, Willard Jones (Martha) and Agnes Teel (Harry); an aunt Etta W. Johnson; as well as many nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends.  

On September 17, 2019, while surrounded by her loved ones, she quietly passed away to eternity joining her loving husband, parents; two loving daughters; Rosa Vernice Farrish Johnson and Valerie Joyce Farrish and three siblings: Rufus "Bo" Jones, Bernice Jones and Cephus E. Jones.
