Robert Lewis ("Butch") Daye

Robert Lewis Daye, son of the late George McSwain and the late Annie Mae Daye departed this life on March 5, 2019 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell.  He was a graduate of Jordan-Sellars High School and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  "Butch" was a member of Miracle Temple Church.  

He leaves loving and lasting memories to his three children: Valentine Daye, Kimberly Daye and Ron Alston (Inger); 6 grandchildren: 4 siblings: Willie Daye (Terri), Charlie William Daye, Louise Burgess and Mildred Bland as well as several nieces & nephews, other relatives and dear friends.   

He was preceded in death by four siblings: Peggy Daye, William Daye, Robert Daye, Jr. "Pete" and June Daye "Bug".
