Peggy Plesant (Spinks) Coleman Atwater

Mrs. Peggy Spinks Atwater was born in Caswell County to  Henry Spinks and Virginia Bigelow Spinks.  She  was married to Frank J. Coleman and to this union two sons were born.  She later married Mack Clinton Atwater.  She loved fashion and her family.  She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ.

She leaves loving and lasting memories to her two sons: Frank J. Coleman (Iris) and Dewey M. Coleman; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; five siblings: Charles Henry Spinks (Shirley), Carolyn Bigelow, Jewel Stanfield, Joann Watlington (John) and Virginia Miles (Buddy) as well as many dear nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends. 

In addition to her husbands and parents she was preceded in death by five brothers: Michael Wayne Spinks, Melvin Curtis Spinks, Sherman Watlington, Aaron Watlington and Larry Watlington.
