Mrs. Nellie "Shay" B. Simmons age 67 of 422 N Main St. transitioned on September 27, 2019, at her residence. She was the daughter of Mr. James Fleming Boswell Sr and Mrs. Ressie Inez Parker Boswell both deceased. She was married to the late Mr. Lindwood "Lynn" Simmons.

Mrs. Simmons is survived by one stepdaughter ; Chenika Rook (Ervin) ; 4 Aunts ; Dora Kimber (Henry), Doris Kimber, Edna Jeffries, and Ava Parker.

She was preceded in death by siblings, James Fleming Boswell Jr and Ivey L. Simmons.
