Melinda Louise (Compton) Evans

Mrs. Melinda Compton Evans age 78 of 1205 Holt St. Mebane, transitioned on June 30, 2019 at the Hospice Home of 

Alamance-Caswell.  Mrs. Evans was born in Alamance County, NC to the late Ms. Millie Mae Compton.  She was educated in the Alamance County 

School System and was a 1959 graduate of Graham High School.  After High School, Melinda studied and graduated from Nursing School.

She attended Mebane First Baptist Church and was a supportive wife of her husband's motorcycle club (The Newcomers).

The life and legacy of Mrs. Melinda Compton Evans will be forever cherished in the heart and mind of her husband, Morris M. Evans Sr of the home; her children, Anitra Evans and Morris M. Evans Jr. (Tawn), one grandchild, Chanel Evans, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
