Mr. Matthew "Snake" Richmond was born on May 24, 1946 in Alamance County to Frank Richmond and Hattie Bradsher Richmond.  He departed this life in April 20, 2017.  Earlier the same day, his sister Algene Richmond Williamson preceded him in death.

He was married to the late Sandra Kaye Leath Richmond and this union was blessed with two children.  He was a Forklift operator with Escco/Sapa for many years.  He was a member and Trustee at Miracle Temple Holy Church.  

He leaves loving memories to his children: Matthias M. Richmond "Mac" (Shana) and Sonja Richmond; a brother Larry Richmond; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  

Other than his parents and sister Algene, he was preceded in death by his other siblings: Roosevelt Richmond, Junious Richmond, Shirley Richmond Trolling, Glossie Richmond and Almetta Richmond Wheeler.
