Mary "Mae" (Corbett) Crisp

Mrs. Mary "Mae" Crisp, 68 of 702 Lakeside Ave. Apt. 3E Burlington, NC transitioned at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, June 4, 2018.  

Mae is survived by her mother, Bessie Corbett Graves, husband, Ira Crisp and two sons, Ervin Bigelow and James Bigelow; two daughters, Jeanette Jones and Khadjeha Vaughn; God-Daughter, Sharon Hamlett (Willie); siblings, Josette Burnette (Joey), Minister Dorothy Enoch (George), Barbara Jean Harris (William), Sallie Bigelow, Linda Day, Claude Bigelow, George Bigelow, Joe Pinnix and Curtis Graves (Betty); two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mae was preceded in death by her father, George Bigelow and two siblings, William Bigelow and Vanessa Bigelow.

Mae was a member of Gethsemane Christian Church where she served the Lord in numerous capacities, Pastors Aide, Usher Board and Choir member.  She retired from Cape Associates.  In her leisure time she enjoyed softball and fishing.

The family will receive visitors at the home of her sister, Josette Burnette at 2304 Quaker Creek Dr. Mebane.
