Mable Louise (White) Payne

Mrs. Mable Louise White Payne, age 83 of Hillsborough, NC transitioned on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Mable was the oldest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Hattie Lou Harrelson White.  She was the devoted wife of the late Mr. David Nash Payne and the proud mother to the late Ms. Sharon L. Payne.

She was a 1952 graduate of Central High School and a member of Dickerson Chapel AME Church in Hillsborough, NC.

The life and now legacy of Mable White Payne will be forever cherished in the hearts of her siblings, Fred White (Veatrice), Archie L. White (Myra) and Danita White.  Along with a host of other family and friends.

Mable was preceded in death by one brother, Frank White.
