Mrs. Linda D. Miles, 70 of 214 Howard St., transitioned peacefully at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

            She was the daughter of Eugene Samuel Daye and Allene Clay Oakley and the wife of Reverend Thomas H. Miles, all deceased.  She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church and owned her own Daycare facility. 

            Survivors include: her children: Vickie Miles Cureton (Leonard), Brian Keith Miles (Aerica) and Arlene Miles Lassiter Jacobs; 5 grandchildren and two siblings: Bishop Steven Clay and Sandra Clay Foust.

            She was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Clay.
