Leon Jeffries

Mr. Leon Jeffries age 69 of 1862 N Hwy 119 transitioned on December 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.  Mr. Jeffries was born in Alamance County on September 5, 1950 to Mr. Amos R. Jeffries and Mrs. Ruth Mae Currie Jeffries both now deceased.

Mr. Jeffries was a member of New Covenant Holy Church and retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service.

Mr. Jeffries is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Pulliam Jeffries, 5 children, Myriam Pulliam, LeVan Jeffries (Carmaria), James Jeffries, Audrey J. Ellis (Dayle) and Randy Jeffries; one brother, Bobby Jeffries; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Jeffries.
