Larry Alexander Allen

Mr. Larry Alexander Allen, 61 of 420 N. St. John, St. transitioned on August 22, 2018. 

 Larry was the son of John Henry Allen and Sadie Dorothy Slade Allen, both deceased and the husband of Doris Slade Allen.  He was a 1975 Western-Alamance High School graduate, worked over 25 years with Konica and was presently employed with the Alcoholic Beverage Commision and was owner and operator of LA’s Lawncare Service.  He was a member and Deacon of Allen’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  

He is survived by: his wife Doris Allen; daughter: Letitia Allen and 4 siblings: John D. Allen, Ray Allen, Yvonne Allen Torain and Carolyn A. Rudd.  

Larry was preceded in death by siblings; Dewey Allen, Francis Harvey, Vivian Allen and Annette Allen.
