Mrs. Juanita Hooker Bigelow Stephens was born to Mr. Wade Hampton Hooker and Mrs. Cleatie Richmond Hooker in Caswell County. She quietly passed away on November, 5, 2019 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center. She attended Caswell County Schools and was a graduate of Caswell County Training School. She was a devoted member of Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was an avid baker. She was a sweet, kind and loving soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was married to Ralph Edward Bigelow and to this union six children were born. She later in life married Thomas Freeman Stephens "Pete".
She leaves loving and lasting memories to her five children:Debra Harrelson (Thomas); Keith Bigelow (Darlene), Ronald Bigelow; Donna Turner and Annette Williams (Joie); 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; seven siblings: Willie M. Hooker; Mary H. Stewart (Alphonzo "Bobby"). Dorothy H. Womack, Mildred H. Whitfield, Robert J. Hooker, Joe L. Hooker and Lizzie B. Hooker; ; son-in-law: Woodrow Corbett; six step-children: Mark Stephens (Cynthia), Linwood Bolden (Tedric), Toni Holloway (Herman), Michelle Stephens, Annette Stephens and Lisa Bradley (Steve); as well as several dear nieces & nephews other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to her husbands and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Rosa Bigelow Corbett and siblings: James Hooker, Leroy Hooker, George Lea and Annie Lea.
