Miss. Gaynelle Crisp 82 of 2014 Holland Ave. transitioned in her home on January 17, 2018. 

She was born the daughter of Walter Eugene Crisp and Carrie Lillie Pinnix Crisp both deceased.  She was a 1951 graduate of Jordan-Sellars High School and Barber Scotia College and North Carolina Central University.  She was a Lifetime member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was of the Catholic faith. 

Surviors include: her siblings: Lillian Crisp McDowell, Eugene Henry Crisp, Sr. (Evalene) and Joseph Pinnix Crisp, Sr.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Ann Crisp and Waltina Crisp Brown.
