Gail Ingrid Herbin Boone-Robinson was born in Alamance County, North Carolina on October 16, 1945 and departed this life September 13, 2017 at her residence.  Gail was the daughter of Jessie J. Herbin and Maggie Bell Faucette Herbin.  She was married to the late Harry Donald Boone and this union was blessed with 3 daughters. 

            Gail was educated in the Burlington City School System and graduated in 1963 from Jordan-Sellars High School and continued her education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina and received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.  Gail was employed with H&R Block of Glen Raven, North Carolina for several years.

            Gail joined Glen Raven First Baptist Church in 1957 the Reverend A.Y. Hairston. In 2009, she joined Elon First Baptist Church under Revered Dr. M. Keith McDaniel.

            She is survived by her children: Teia N. Boone, Sheri Boone Young (Stan), Heather Donielle B. Hall (Tony), Maurice Shavers, Sr. and Shelia D. Anderson, grandchildren: Mica D. Hawkins, Tierra Boone, Donald “Tre” Young, Desmond Boone, Shari Young, D’Kiyah McCrary, DeAndra Young and Minister Dedrick Young; great-grandchildren: Maliyah Semone Young, Leanna Young, Derius Alston, Brandon Young and Biranne Vincent as well as a host of other cousins, classmates and dear friends.
