Evelyn Janelle (Teel) Miles

Mrs. Evelyn Janelle Teel Miles, 77 transitioned at Cone-Health Alamance Regional Medical Center on February 25, 2018.  She was the born the daughter of Mr. John Daniel Teel, who survives and the late Mrs. Lucille Evonne Matkins Teel.  She was a 1958 graduate of Jordan-Sellars and was employed formerly with A&P Grocery and later Headstart.  She was a member of First Baptist Church-Apple Street. 

She is survived by her husband: Adolphus Ophield Miles; her children: Sonia Miles Corbett (Ronald) and Chris Miles (Amy); her father: John D. Teel; sisters: June T. Blackwell, Connie T. Johnson (Reverend Thomas), Shirley T. Yarborough and Pamela T. Wright (Edwin); 3 grandchildren: Jenna Corbett, Darren Miles and Justin Corbett; nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.  

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Lee Teel.
