Mr. Evelyn Vernn Burton “Tee”, 80 of 2230 Willie Pace Rd. transitioned on November 22, 2017 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center. 

He was the son of Bernice Burton and Pearl Tapp Burton both deceased. 

Survivors include his children: Larry Burton, Bryant Burton, Pearl Thompson, Edna Graves (Marshall) and Diane Wells (Alex); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and brother: Lacy Burton (Inez).

A brother, Connell Burton preceded him in death.
