Errol George Coleman

Mr. Errol George Coleman, better known as "Bob", passed away on August 2019 at the University of Chapel Hill Hospitals.  He was a native of Jamaica, but made Efland, North Carolina his home.  He was a skilled craftsman, constructing many homes and lasting structures.  He was a devoted member of Mt Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church.  He was married to Joyce Nichols Coleman.  

He is survived by his three children: Patricia Paylor (Charles), Victor Coleman (Maria) and Alexander Coleman (Phebe); two step-daughters: Faye Brown (John) and Devona Lunsford (Carnell); 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; six siblings: Phillip Coleman, George Coleman, Samuel Coleman, Lide Coleman, Inez C. Graham and Lurlene Coleman.  

In addition to his wife, Joyce Nichols Coleman, he was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Coleman and Annie Street as well as three siblings: Crews Coleman, Pearl Coleman and Annie Coleman.
