Mrs. Edna Earl Vincent Manning, 83, of 1636 Regency Drive transitioned on Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Clarence Vincent, Sr. and Mrs. Fannie Juanita Thompson Vincent, and loving wife of the late Roger L. Manning, Sr.
Edna attended Graham High School and was a member of the 1954 graduating class. After graduation, she attended college for 2 years before entering the workforce at Western Electric and later retired after numerous years as a Counseling Supervisor from Vocational Trade of Alamance County.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, loving parents, four brothers: Clarence Vincent, Jr., Leroy Vincent, Jake Vincent, and Billy Vincent; and seven sisters: Viola Vincent, Barbara Slade, Alberta Dixon, Katherine Allen, Nellie Jeffries, Doris Vaughn and Edith Faye Shivers.
Those whose lives were enriched by her and who will cherish loving memories are: five children: Karen Vincent, Sr. (Sandra) of Burlington, NC, Deborah Turner of Greensboro, NC, Terry Turner and William Turner, Sr. of Burlington, NC, and Duncan Turner of Winston Salem, NC; one sister, Mary Tapp; three sisters in law: Susie Vincent, Shirley Vincent, and Jeannie (Beadie) Allen; nine grandchildren: Kristy Burney, Keisha Brown, Terry Turner, Jr., Dekoury Vincent, Karen (K.J.) Vincent, Jr., April Reeves, Ashley Turner, Louie Turner, and William Turner, Jr., seven great grandchildren, four step children, thirteen step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
