Edmond ("Eddie") Tate, Jr.

Edmond Tate, Jr., son of Edmond Tate, Sr. and Lucille Myers Tate transitioned on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell following a period of declining health.  He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Cox Tate. 

For several years he was an electrician up-north and he enjoyed being around he family and friends.  He and a way with words, so there was no grey area on where you stood.  We will dearly miss his presence and will cherish his loving and lasting memory.  

Survivors include: his sons: Corey Cox, Jonathan Tate and William Cox; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  

In addition to his loving and devoted wife and caring parents, he was preceded in death by a son Derrick Cox and a sister: Mattie Tate Reed.
