Clyde William Baldwin

Mr. Clyde William Baldwin age 88 of 414 Enoch St. Burlington, transitioned from labor to reward on August 14, 2019 at his residence.  He was the son of Mr. Charlie Baldwin and Mrs. Berta Burnett Baldwin.  Born in Chatham County, NC on October 23, 1930.

Clyde was also referred to as "Uncle Dan" by his many nieces and nephews.  He was a professional car detailer, working for many dealerships and for himself.  He was a member and  Trustee at Terrell's Chapel AME Zion Church in Pittsboro, NC.

He is survived by his wife Mary Carlisle Baldwin, his daughter Deborrah "Debbie" Nettles, sister, Helen Baldwin; 2 grandchildren, Tarja Nettles and Emanuel Nettles; 2 great grandchildren, Sanaa Davis and Ky'Berry Nettles, 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Baldwin and Mary Baldwin with a host of nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Clyde was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie "Buddy" Baldwin, James Baldwin and Frank Baldwin; sisters, Pauline B. Gibbs, Fleta B. Jeffries, Annie Bell Baldwin, Raymond B. Wilson, Lucille Baldwin and Josie Baldwin.
