Clero Florence

Mr. Clero Florence of 2247 W. Simpson Rd. Green Level Community, NC transitioned on April 22, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Florence was the son of Mr. William Empson Florence and Mrs. Bertha Richmond Florence and the husband of Mrs. Lucretia Frances Demery Florence all of whom are now 

deceased.

Mr. Florence was a Montford Point Marine Veteran where he served his country proudly and honorably.  He was also member of The Green Level Christian Church.  Mr. Florence provided for his family as a chef for over twenty years and a chauffeur for over forty years in New York.

Mr. Florence is survived by his children, Cleo Florence (Paulina), Seth Florence (Kylea) and Arlene Florence; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two children, Linda Florence and Rita Florence; all nine of his siblings, William, Fred, Betty Mae, Alma, Edna Jane, Annie Lee, Ella Mae, Ada Bell and Maloga.
