Mrs. Blondie Ann Cant Byrd, age 75 of 810 Sharpe Rd. Transitioned on May 3, 2017 at Cone Healthcare ARMC.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Wilbert Gant and Mrs. Mary Chrisp Gant.  She was married to the late Quincy Hayward Byrd.
Mrs. Byrd was a member of Jeffries Cross Baptist Church and was a 1961 graduate of Jordan Sellars High School.
She is survived by her three children, Troy Jerome Byrd, Catherine D. Queen (James) and Sonya Laverne Bigelow (Edward II); three grandchildren, Quentin Queen, Quarry Queen and Edward Bigelow III and sister-in-law, Shirley Gant.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Wilbert Gant, Jr. , David Alexander Gant and Hildred Enoch.
Funeral services will be Saturday May 13, 2017 at 1:00pm at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church.  The family will receive visitors an hour prior to service on Saturday
At the church.  The body can be viewed on Friday from 1 to 9pm at Sharpe Funeral Home.  Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
