Betty Ann Shepard

Ms. Betty Ann Shepard, beloved daughter of William Shepard and Janie Powell and caring sister of William Earl Shepard transitioned into eternal rest on June 29, 2018 to join her parents and brother.  

She is survived by her caregiver Mr. Ron Francis and cousins: Shirley Beatty, Freddie Coleman and Charles Rayman Beatty.  

Betty was a retired educator with he Danville Public School System with 45 years of service.  She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., having pledged at the Technical College of Winston Salem (Winston-Salem State University).  She was also a member of the Chums Social Club and a member of Missionary Baptist Church of Thomasville.
