Mrs. Beatrice Wiley Jones 106, of Cedar Ridge Retirement Community, Burlington NC transitioned on May 2, 2017 at Cone Health Alamance Regional. 

Born, February 5, 1911 in Green Level, North Carolina to the late John Wiley, Sr. the late Enolia McBroom Wiley.  She was the last survivor of her generation, having been preceded in death by her siblings: John Wiley, Jr., Madeline Sellars, Ophelia W. Baynes, Lorraine Fonville and Elsie Wiley as well as her half-sisters: Eunice Harvey and Inez Headen.  She was a devoted mother to her son Leon Wiley who also preceded her in death.  She was married to the late John M. Jones. 

She is survived by her granddaughter: June Wiley; 3 great-grandchildren: Rosalyn Morrell, MD (Kelly Morrell), Matthew Clark and Garrett Clark; 2 great-grandchildren: Keira Morrell and Brandon Morrell as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
