Aisha Shawntae Copeland

A brave and courageous soul, in the person of Aisha S. Copeland, took flight on April 23, 2018 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hospital while surrounded by those she loved and loved her.  

She was born the daughter of Hollin C. Copeland, Jr. and Bridgette Annette Floyd Copeland, who both survive.  She was a 1995 graduate of Orange High School and was employed with LabCorp of America and was a devoted member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ. 

She is survived by her son: Jaiwan Copeland; her father: Hollin Carnell Copeland, Jr. (Lela); her mother: Bridgette F. Copeland and three siblings: Matt Lee (Mindy), Jamila Copeland and Carvell Copeland (Natasha).
