Mr. Willie Evans Bigelow 71, transitioned at Alamance Health Care Center on October 6, 2016.  He was the son of the late Mr. George William Bigelow, Sr. and the late Mrs. Sally Belle Sellars Bigelow Morton.

            He was preceded in death by two siblings: Fredrick Bigelow and Vanessa Bigelow.

            Survivors include: a daughter: Tiffany Bigelow; five siblings: George W. Bigelow, Jr. and Barbara Bigelow Harris (William) all of Burlington, Herman Bigelow of Albany, NY, Sallie Isabelle Bigelow of Gibsonville and Linda Bigelow Day of Woodbridge, VA and two grandchildren: Jaquane Alston and Andre Gray, Jr.

            Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 12 Noon at Sweet Gum Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the family greeting friends an hour prior to the services.  Interment will follow the services in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 11am until 9pm at the funeral home and at other times the family will be at his brother, George’s home, 419 Brooklyn St., Burlington, NC.
