Mr. Walter Lee Burton 89, of 2430 E. Simpson Rd. transitioned on March 30, 2017 at Cone-Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Alex Burton and the late Lessie Francis Burton and the husband of the late Mrs. Nellie Florence Baynes Burton.

He is survived by three children: Terry Lee Burton, Barry Donell Burton (Sharon) and Renae Burton Moone; two siblings: James Burton (Mary) and Mildred Burton Jordan; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
