Mr. Terry Abney was born on November 4, 1958 to the late Mr. Frank Jr. Abney and the late Mrs. Clara Estelle Culbreathe Abney in Alamance County, North Carolina. After a brief illness, our loving brother and friend transitioned from earth to Glory on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Cone-Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Terry was a 1977 graduate of Hugh M. Cummings High School and was employed within the Textile industry for many years. He was kind and caring individual who would help anyone that he possibly could. He was a devoted member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where he served. Terry loved fishing as did his twin Jerry. We shall miss his presence here with us, but we know as long as we continue to call his name, he will forever be in our minds and hearts. 

Left to cherish his memory and emulate his life are: brother: Charlie Jr. Abney (Linda); an uncle John D. Abney; nieces and nephews along with other relatives and dear friends. 

He was preceded in death by three siblings: George Abney, Frankie Abney and his twin Jerry Abney.
