Mrs. Roberta Clay Fowler, 79 of 2445 Hillford Dr. transitioned on November 19, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Alamance Caswell.  She was born January 25, 1937 to the late George Washington Clay and the late Mrs. Bertha Ann Siler Clay in Alamance County.  She was married to the late Mr. Johnny Fowler.  She was owner and administrator of Fowler Family Care for a number of years.  She was a devoted member of Morgantown Baptist Church and sang with the Senior Choir.

Survivors include: her 5 children: Janice Clay Reaves, Stella Fowler, Glenda Carter (Clifton) Pamela Fowler and Stanley Fowler; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Sylvia Fowler and all her siblings: Lee Vanuel Clay, Calvin Clay, Merle C. McCoy, Aileen C. Oakley, Delacy Clay, Maude C. Kelly and Dometries C. Patterson.
